Q. What kinds of items do you paint?A.
We paint bridge retrofit components, pipes, columns, sheet piles, bridge sections,
pressure vessels, trusses, barges.
Q. How big of steel components can you handle?
A. Our blast and paint booth is 35 feet high and 30 feet wide. We have two
20-ton bridge cranes that can be hooked up in tandem.
Q. What kind of access do you have into you facility?
A. We access into and out of our facility by truck, rail and barge. Barges
can be loaded and unloaded by a 200 ton mobile gantry crane.
Q. Do you remove lead paint?
A. Yes. We perform lead abatement, as well as other hazardous paint removal
in our reclaiming blast booths.
Q. Do you do sandblasting and waterblasting?
A. Yes We abrasive blast using recyclable shot blast, grit blast, and low to
ultrahigh pressure water blasting and jetting.
Q. What types of coating do you use?
A. We apply zincs, epoxies, urethanes, coal tars, water based paints, and
Protecto 401 for ductile iron pipe.
Q. What is your turn around time for coating steel.
A. This is primarily a function of the paint system and the size of the
order, but generally, we can turn around a job in about 5 to 10 working days.
